The public is hereby notified of our new water connection policy with effect from 1st October, 2009 as follows:

1.      Non refundable application form fee is N1000.00
2.      Connection fee for sizes from ¾’’ to 1 ½’’ are:

3.      Sizes of water connections for different categories are:
·         Single tap ¾’’
·         Stand pipes and multiple taps is 1’’
·         Highly commercial premises and Industries is 11/2’’ and above
4.      All connection materials including one length of service pipe are to be provided by the Board from the connection fees

5.      The remaining service pipes and fittings other than the first length of pipe shall be provided by the customer.
6.      All water connections MUST henceforth be installed with water meters.
7.      There shall be no more collection of construction deposit because water rates will be charged based on meter consumption from the time of connection.
8.       Connection should be done after processing of application form
Illegal connection will attract penalty of N20, 000.00 in addition to payment of water connection charges
